Ways to a Healthier You

Sana Via, LLC is a boutique business that specializes in ways to maintain a healthy life with a focus on the following areas:

PILATES is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact, flexibility and muscular strengths and endurance movements.

5 Reasons to try Pilates:

  1. It’s all about you. No big classes; Private and Semi-private sessions guarantee you personal attention and guidance. As an instructor I like to be hands on and help people learn about their bodies, and how to use what they learn in their daily lives.
  2. Sharp attention to form; Precision and control are two important principles in Pilates. It is not just about doing the workout but how you do it. The more accurate the exercises are performed, the more beneficial they are.
  3. Small adjustments get you back into alignment. Moving slowly, keeping the muscles into tension builds endurance and strength.
  4. You will have a complete workout with the usage of a variety of props and equipment. While you may do a leg sequence at the same time your core and arms are working. Every move leads to joint stability, strength, flexibility and improvement of mental focus and coordination.
  5. Real life benefits. Improves your posture as a results of slouching at your desk, sitting or standing for two long. These habits will result in asymmetrical muscle development; Pilates workouts will help strengthen the underdevelopment muscles and improve your posture.

REFLEXOLOGY is a complementary therapy that works with the reflexes in the hands, feet and face that correspond to every organ in the body.  While it is not widely accepted in the medical world, try it for its relaxation benefits of the entire body. You will feel rejuvenated and deeply relaxed.

REIKI is a Japanese form  of therapy that is delivered through the hands. Reiki means “universal life energy” and this modality attempts to balance the flow of energy and stimulate the body’s healing abilities. During the session the client is fully clothed.  The best way to understand it is to experience it.

About

Born in the Northeastern part of the Balkan Peninsula, my childhood was sheltered by my grandparents who lived in a region hidden between luxurious forests and the last curves of the Carpathians.

In this little town where traditions were kept unchanged through history, I learned from my grandmother how to use the gifts of nature.  I remember the dry lavender flowers that she used to place under my pillow and that sweet calming scent followed me through the years.

My love for helping people revealed in my youth when I became a teacher and guided children to blossom, intellectually and emotionally.

After living in Rome and Southern California,  my family established our residence in Denver.

While my career path shifted through technological and executive professions I kept alive my interest in holistic pathways.

I have  graduated from “Just For Health Enterprises” Reflexology School, and I am  proficient in the practice of Reflexology according to the National American Reflexology Certification Board (ARBC) standards.

In addition, I am  certified by NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) in the clinical use of essential oils, I am a Reiki Master and I served in the ARC (Associated Reflexologists of Colorado) Board of Directors as the Vice-President.

I am a  Pilates enthusiast and I am trained in comprehensive BASI®  and Classical Pilates (Mat and Equipment).
